Lawyer Florian Beukes, who represents the Magistrates and Judges Association, has accused Justice Minister Wise Immanuel of referencing laws that do not exist.

The government, through the Justice and Labour Relations Ministry, has handed over eight vehicles to traditional authorities to support their community courts and strengthen the traditional justice system. 

The Justice Minister, Yvonne Dausab, has addressed concerns around the operationalisation of the Whistleblower Protection Act and the Witness Protection Act in the National Assembly.
