Students at the University of Namibia (UNAM) have questioned the effectiveness of government interventions aimed at cushioning consumers from rising fuel prices, saying the measures have had little visible impact on daily living expenses.

Transport shortage hampers drought relief efforts in Otjozondjupa Region

The distribution of drought relief food in the Otjozondjupa Region's periurban areas is still moving at a snail's pace due to a lack of transport with only one truck in the region. 

Deputy Prime Minister John Mutorwa has thus asked the region to advertise its need for trucks.
