Health Ministry provides transport support to farm Julianne

Community members of Farm Julianne, in the Grootfontein Constituency, were overjoyed after the Ministry of Health and Social Services allocated a vehicle to the farm and its surrounding areas.

 Farm Julianne is situated about 77 kilometres northeast of Grootfontein, in the Otjozondjupa Region.

Florian Donatus urges industry support for communities

The donation follows COSDEC Omaheke reaching out for assistance for trainees at the centre who lacked safety boots.

The Office of the ||Kharas Governor handed over gardening equipment and seeds to identified rural community gardening initiatives in the region. The equipment and seeds were donated by Mefuta Enterprises.

Fishing company Blue Chromis donates to grieving families at Okahandja

The Blue Chromis Fishing Company in Walvis Bay has donated fish to the families of the murdered girls in Okahandja, as well as to the Ark Orphanage and the general community.

In addition, the company contributed N$16,500 to the funeral costs of the girls.

Forum launched to uplift marginalised communities

A forum seeking to uplift marginalised communities was launched in Windhoek.

The Forum of Marginalised Groups of Namibia consists of the descendants of the Khoisan.

It will work towards uplifting the communities through religious practices, sports and cultural activities.
