The Executive Director of Integrated Rural Development and Nature Conservation (IRDNC), John Kasaona, is satisfied with the progress made by the Kunene Elephant Walk initiative.

The Office of the Kunene Governor and various government institutions have embarked on a mission, as directed by the president, to assess the proposed Purros Dam site in the region.

The Integrated Rural Development and Nature Conservation (IRDNC) has launched its Strategic Plan for 2026-2031 in Windhoek today. 

Speaking at this launch, the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Trade, Jennely Matundu, says the government remains committed to community-based conservation.
