Rundu recently hosted the first-ever National Technical and Vocational Education and Training Fair to promote TVET among out-of-school youth.

Fred Mandaha, the Acting Head of Training at the Gobabis Vocational Training Centre, has encouraged schools in the Omaheke Region to visit the centre regularly to learn about the trades it offers.

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) has established itself as a leader in action-based learning, offering courses that equip students with practical, hands-on experience, preparing them to seamlessly enter the job market.

The institute offers 70% practical application and 30% theory.
