Woman remanded over Ohalumbebe child killing

A 31-year-old woman, Hilma Hiskia, has been remanded in custody by Magistrate Tuarirovangu Kasirua for allegedly killing her boyfriend’s 3-year-old daughter at Ohalumbebe village over the weekend. Her case was postponed to 16 June.

Windhoek facility moves to separate Fishrot accused

The Windhoek Correctional Facility has initiated another attempt to separate multiple Fishrot accused, who are currently housed together in the same unit.
 
The move comes weeks after the High Court found that the facility acted incorrectly by relocating them unilaterally.
