The ||Kharas Region has achieved its polio vaccination campaign target, after a 91% coverage in the first round of the polio vaccination since it started in January.

Zambia, in partnership with UNICEF, launched the first-ever malaria vaccine, making it one of the first countries to roll out this particular immunisation programme.

The Namibian Cabinet has authorised the sale of the ageing government jet, Falcon V5-NAM, which is currently valued at N$95.9 million.

This was announced as part of the latest Cabinet decisions, following a decision-making meeting.

The Increasing Access to Quality Nutrition and Protection Services for Vulnerable Populations project has immunised nearly 4,000 and dewormed about 2,600 children in Namibia to improve health and nutrient absorption.
