Joel Angula and Sam Shololo, accused in connection with the January 18 NAMDIA robbery, appeared in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court this morning.

The prosecution informed the court that some witness statements are still outstanding and that investigations are ongoing. 

The second suspect in the Namib Desert Diamonds (NAMDIA) robbery, Sam Shololo, was caught in the act of the crime, the state informed the Windhoek Magistrates Court.

Sam Shololo (45), one of the accused in the NAMDIA diamond heist, has been discharged from a state hospital in Windhoek, police spokesperson Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi has confirmed.
