NAMDIA has dismissed the defence filed by security company G4S in the High Court as "utterly contrived" and one that is "poor and improper".

Lawyer Florian Beukes, who represents the Magistrates and Judges Association, has accused Justice Minister Wise Immanuel of referencing laws that do not exist.

G4S Namibia says that a lawsuit filed by NAMDIA is vague and lacks sufficient detail to assess the alleged loss.

NAMDIA seeks N$314 million in damages following a diamond theft at its headquarters on January 18.

In a social media post, he claimed that Hengari had drugged the minor before engaging with her.
