The Eenhana Town Council will relocate street vendors to a new site from the 30th of this month to bring order to the town.

Street vendors, however, are unhappy.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Urban and Rural Development is assessing the progress on the relocation of vendors around Windhoek's Havana 4-Way relocation, as the City of Windhoek moves ahead with plans to upgrade the Eneas Peter Nanyemba Road and transform the busy area.

Street vendors along the incomplete Ongos–Eneas Peter Nanyemba Road in Windhoek’s Havana informal settlement are demanding the urgent completion of the road project, saying construction delays are hurting their livelihoods.
