The newly appointed director general of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), Menesia Muinjo, has stressed the importance of teamwork in driving the corporation's revenue growth. 

She, amongst others, pledged a strong focus on investment in digital platforms, particularly social media.

The outgoing Director General of the NBC, Stanley Similo, says he is leaving the corporation with a sense of fulfilment after playing his part.

Similo served as Director General of the NBC for more than ten years.

Aminuis residents in the Omaheke Region have taken it on themselves to support the work of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation, ensuring that they guard against theft and vandalism of the broadcaster's network tower facilities in their area.
