The Minister of Industries, Mines and  Energy (MIME), Modestus Amutse has expressed concerns over shortage of skilled  workers in both the mining and energy sectors. 

This, the minister asserted, could hinder the government's efforts to maximum  value for the country. 

The Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy (MIME), Modestus Amutse, has reiterated the government's aim to ensure 70% of the country's citizens have access to electricity by 2030. 

The Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy (MIME) has reaffirmed its commitment to accelerating Namibia's industrial development, noting progress on key national programmes and outlining new measures aimed at boosting investment, manufacturing capacity and small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) growth. 

 The new Minister of Industries, Mines, and Energy (MIME) says he is not afraid of straight talk with investors in the mining sector. 

 Modestus Amutse says he intends to ensure that the Namibian nation benefits from the country's natural resources.
