Kunene Governor Marius Sheya says green hydrogen opportunities offered to young people in the region have not been responsive to the needs of school drop-outs.

Sheya is advocating for their inclusion in future projects.

Sheya is leading a delegation, which includes members of the Kunene Regional Council and local authorities.

The group is on a benchmarking visit to green hydrogen projects in the Erongo Region.

This was said by Swapo Party member Verna Sinimbo at Sifuha Village in the Zambezi Region.

NUST satellite campus at Luderitz to become Green Hydrogen research hub

The Namibia University of Technology and Science (NUST) satellite campus at Luderitz is set to become the green hydrogen research hub. 

Professor Samuel John, Green Hydrogen Research Coordinator for NUST, said this in an interview with nbc News.

Environmental projects require a more sustainable grant investment model - EIF

The Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Investment Fund (EIF) says there is a need to unlock a grant investment model that can sustain environmental projects for communities beyond their funding cycle. 

Benedict Libanda said this during an information-sharing session at the Government Information Centre.
