The opening day of the two-day Under 15 National Team trials successfully got underway, bringing together both girls and boys from all 14 regions of Namibia.

Windhoek Technical High School's Techies has claimed first place in the high school category at the 10th Annual Programming Competition awards. 

Namibia University of Science and Technology's Phonics Team took the top spot among tertiary competitors.

Thunderous weather is characteristic of this time of year, and the number of people who have been struck by or who have died from lightning bolts is significant. 

That raises the question of how people can reduce their risk of exposure to being struck by lightning.
