The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation is mourning the loss of Innocentia Uatjike, who died on Monday at the age of 30.

Uatjike had been employed as a cleaner at the nbc TV headquarters in Windhoek for the past nine months.

Colleagues remember her as a dedicated and kind individual. nbc Chief of Human Resources, Vezenga Karuaisa, confirmed her death.

In a statement, the nbc expressed that Uatjike would be greatly missed and extended heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

Her burial is scheduled for next weekend in Omaruru, Erongo Region.

 Uatjike is survived by her two children, aged 10 and 7, as well as her parents.
