The National Collaborative Board Association of Namibia (NCBA) has launched a series of impactful community development projects aimed at addressing pressing social issues.
In a recent appearance on the Good Morning Namibia program, NCBA President Ingashipola Lucas emphasized that these initiatives focus on nurturing young people and creating lasting solutions to the world's most urgent challenges.
The newly launched projects target humanitarian aid efforts, educating the community and raising awareness about issues such as alcohol abuse, mental health, gender-based violence, and rape.
Lucas provided a clear overview of the board's mandate and its strategy to tackle the daily challenges faced by youth.
The primary goal is to empower and unite young people, fostering innovation, driving change, and creating lasting benefits for all Namibians.
Additionally, Lucas highlighted the transformative role of the National Collaborative Board in promoting social and developmental growth, serving as a platform for youth development and community empowerment.
The association operates in various areas, including civic education, leadership training, social advertising, and philanthropy.
"The Association provides surgical items, sanitary pads at school grounds for women in lower-income communities, and food parcels for communities in need," Lucas stated.
