As the date draws closer for the much-anticipated Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia event at Ongwediva, the top ten finalists were exposed to various ancient traditional norms and practices of the AaWambo culture and traditions, as well as taking time off to relax.

It's been an eventful week for the beauty queens as they navigated the northern regions ahead of the crowning in July.

From the cultural showcases and natural wonders, the road to Miss Namibia 2025 has been unforgettable, with the crowning just 49 days away.

The Miss Namibia Organisation's CEO said the decision by the nbc and Debmarine to rotate the pageant across regions has been widely welcomed.

The event will also allow locals to showcase their culture and expose contestants to Namibia's diversity.

The beauty queens also visited Etosha, Ruacana Water Falls, and various other locations to gain a comprehensive understanding of the local offerings.

A local business, OK Grocer Oshikuku, which also donated N$10,000 towards the beauty pageant, held a meet and greet at Oshakati, where fans came in numbers to interact with the contestants.

Oshakati Town Mayor Leornard Hango applauded the pageant's management and sponsors for allowing the north to host the prestigious event for the first time.

The Omukwaniilwa of the Ondonga Traditional Authority, Fillemon Shuumbwa, pledged a heifer for the winner and also donated N$30,000 towards the pageant.
