Former Miss World Namibia contestant Selma Kamanya paid a courtesy visit to Swapo Party Secretary General Sophia Shaningwa at the party headquarters.

Shaningwa was a strong supporter of Kamanya during the Miss World competition held in India, where Kamanya placed in the top eight.

The Swapo SG praised Kamanya for her achievement and for representing Namibia and its women on the international stage.

Kamanya received flowers in appreciation for making history as one of Namibia’s top-performing beauty queens.

She thanked Shaningwa for her encouragement, saying the support helped boost her confidence.
