||KHARAS REPORTS RISE IN TEEN PREGNANCIES

The ||Kharas region has recorded 261 teenage pregnancies and 1,051 pregnancy-related school dropouts between 2022 and 2026.

This was revealed during Miss World Namibia Elly Aron's courtesy visit to the Regional Educational Directorate Office in Keetmanshoop.

Miss World Namibia extends applications, waives N$500 fee

Miss World Namibia has extended the due date for applications for the 2026 National Contest while also dropping the initially charged N$500 application fee.

The initial application period run between 30 October and 30 November. The extension runs from 7 to 16 January.
