In his final campaign rally message for the Swapo Party by-election in Otjiwarongo, Swapo Party senior member Elijah Ngurare endorsed Paulus Nekundi as the ideal candidate to fill the vacant constituency seat in the upcoming elections.

Dr. Ngurare emphasized the importance of ensuring Nekundi's victory to maintain the party’s successful track record in local and regional council initiatives, including housing, land delivery, municipal services, and programs like informal settlement upgrades that benefit residents.

During the rally, Ngurare urged party members to unite and uphold the party's constitution and structures at all times.

He assured attendees that the Swapo-led government would continue to support economic development programs aligned with the party’s manifesto and implementation plans.

Nekundi is competing for the seat previously held by Marlene Mbakera, who has since become a member of Parliament.
