The Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA), in collaboration with the #BeFree Movement and the |Khomas Regional Council, is hosting a three-day career guidance and information-sharing event.

The Deputy Executive Director in the Ministry of Education, Edda Bohn, described the career fair as an important component in guiding learners in their choice of career.

"It's a platform where young people encounter real-world experiences, and possibly, most of them will be inspired to build concrete careers. This event serves as an incubator for ambition, where our young people will discover diverse frontiers in technology. more than 3,000 learners from all the schools around the |Khomas Region and possibly also neighbouring regions."

The Executive Director at One Economy Foundation, Paulina Kahupi, said these platforms align with the foundation's objective in shaping the minds and empowering the youth to make informed decisions.

"We are always looking to partner and collaborate with organisations with mandates and principles that align with our broader mission of bridging socio-economic inequality through our five pillars: health, education, entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, and gender-based violence prevention."
