Kamanjab Constituency Councillor Nikodemus Amutenya, in collaboration with various offices, ministries, and agencies, officially launched a development outreach programme.
The aim of the programme is to bridge the gap between government and the community by localising national initiatives and fostering a people-centred approach to service delivery.
The outreach programme kicked off at Omapaha (Vierling) Farm, where farm owners and workers had the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from different OMAs.
The initiative also seeks to strengthen communication and build productive working relationships between the councillor's office and all development partners.
"We are here, at least with the outreach programme, where we want to engage with our stakeholders and to give the people the program that we have from the Regional Council, where we want to take what is in the constitution to the people. We want our people at least to know that there is a regional office in Kamanjab and the councillors that were elected are there and they're in the constituency."
The residents welcomed the engagement.
