Keetmanshoop Primary School held its first entrepreneurship day for the year. The initiative aimed to inspire learners about entrepreneurship and innovation and to enhance their business skills.

Teaching learners financial literacy at an early age helps them to develop healthy and lifelong financial habits.

The entrepreneurship day is held annually to raise much-needed funds for the school, while the platform equally aims to teach learners valuable business lessons.  

Learners were also judged on their stall's appearance and rewarded for their hard work.

Parents and guardians who came to support their children commended the school and its organisers for the day's activities.

The organisers informed NBC News that next year's event will be much bigger, as they plan to invite more residents of Keetmanshoop to come and assist the young

entrepreneurs.
