National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) Vice President Peter Kazongominja has declared that Okakarara will not be ruled by another political party, reaffirming the constituency's status as NUDO headquarters.

Kazongominja delivered the message on Sunday, as NUDO colours filled the streets of Okakarara, with supporters cheering along the drive-through before the gathering moved to the town's business centre.

He said Okakarara remains central to NUDO's identity and political history, and the party is determined to defend and strengthen its presence in the constituency.

"There is no way that you allow this consistency to fall into foreign hands. There is no way that we will allow the town of Okakarara to fall into foreign hands, so we are prepared to keep this constituency as well as the local authority of Okakarara."

Kazongominga noted that NUDO currently leads seven constituencies, expressing confidence that the party will retain all seven and add three more in the upcoming elections.

"Make sure every single vote that is there is cast. That is what we need to do. I urge all our party agents to work around the clock for three consecutive days to ensure we secure the maximum votes needed to win. Okakarara Constituency, Otjinene Constituency, Tsumkwe Constituency, Omatako Constituency, Aminus Constituency, Katutura Central Constituency, Omaruru Constituency,"

He cited growing support from communities as a sign of renewed trust in NUDO's leadership.

The Vice President emphasised that NUDO is a peaceful political party, urging residents – especially undecided and first-time voters – to support and join the movement "while there is still time to remain relevant."
