Political parties, associations and independent candidates have wrapped up their final campaign rallies ahead of Wednesday's Regional Councils and Local Authorities Elections. 

In line with the Communication Regulatory Authority of Namibia's (CRAN) broadcasting code, no campaign-related stories are to be broadcast 48 hours before polling day. The blackout comes into effect as of 07:00 tomorrow morning.

In adherence to the CRAN code, the NBC carried all campaign-related news stories from across the country in the Sunday (23/11/25) 20:00 bulletin. There will be no more broadcasts of campaign-related content on all NBC platforms.
