The Council of the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) appointed 2 Deputy Vice-Chancellors (VC) who will take up their positions on the 1 February 2026.
Professor Colin Stanley will serve as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation, and Partnerships, while Professor Teresia Kaulihowa will hold the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Teaching, Learning, and Technology. Both Deputy Vice-Chancellors.
The Chairperson of the NUST Council, Leake Hangala, noted that the appointments aim to strengthen the leadership capacity of the university and advance its strategic priorities.
"These appointments reflect the Council's commitment to ensuring that NUST continues to excel as a leading institution of higher learning in Namibia and the region. Prof. Stanley and Prof. Kaulihowa bring extensive academic expertise, leadership experience, and proven track records in their respective fields.
