Documents that remain outstanding have again delayed the bail hearing of brothers George and Bino Cloete in the Keetmanshoop Magistrates Court.

The two, together with Charmaine Cloete - the wife of George Cloete, face two counts of violating the Prevention of Organised Crime Act (POCA) and of illicit trafficking under the Diamond Act.

Lawyer Percy McNally requested the postponement of the bail hearing, the second such request this week.
He told the court some required documents remain outstanding, saying the accused are struggling to obtain them due to their incarceration.

In addition, McNally said he was also waiting for further instruction from the accused, whom he added were in the process of raising funds to cover their legal costs.

The latter reason was also cited for the bail hearing postponement on Tuesday.
The High Court recently granted their co-accused, Charmaine Cloete, who is the wife of George Cloete, bail of N$50,000.

This was after the Keetmanshoop Magistrates Court denied her bail.
It is alleged that the suspects trafficked and sold diamonds in Port Nolloth, South Africa.

The diamonds are believed to be linked to those stolen during NAMDIA's robbery earlier this year, worth millions of dollars.
The case is postponed until next Monday.
