Young Brazilians have been promoted to the Namibia Premier Football League (NPFL) after spending just one season in the Southern Stream First Division.

The Karasburg-based side secured their promotion following a 0-0 draw against Friends FC at the J. Stephanus Stadium in Keetmanshoop. With this result, they become the first team across all three first-division streams to confirm their spot in the 2026/27 NPFL season.

Young Brazilians finished the campaign with 42 points, narrowly edging out second-placed Mariental FC by a single point.

The return of the "Brazilians" marks a significant comeback after their relegation in the 2024/25 season. The club previously made history in 2017/18 when they became the first team from the //Karas region to compete in the top flight since Fedics United F.C. in the 2007/08 season.

Young Brazilians will now turn their attention to technical preparations for the upcoming Premier League season.
