KK Palace FC held a training session on Thursday as preparations continued for Saturday's NFA Cup Final against UNAM FC at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek.
The stage is set for the 2026 NFA Cup Final, with UNAM FC taking on KK Palace FC, the only team from northern Namibia to reach this year's final.
Both sides will be aiming to lift the trophy when they meet in Windhoek.
KK Palace secured their place in the final after defeating NDF Mighty Gunners 5-3 on penalties, earning the chance to compete for one of Namibia's domestic cup titles.
Following the team's training session at Oshakati Independence Stadium, NBC Sport spoke to interim head coach Sakaria Kambonde, who expressed confidence in his squad's preparations and praised the players' commitment ahead of the final.
Kambonde said the team has worked hard in training and urged his players to produce a strong performance on match day.
He also called on football supporters from northern Namibia to travel to Windhoek and support the team.
Vice Captain Romeo Hausiku acknowledged that the final will be a tough challenge but believes the team is ready for the occasion.
He also spoke about the responsibility of leading by example and thanked supporters for their encouragement throughout the campaign.
The 2026 NFA Cup Final will be played on Saturday, 27 June, at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek.
