President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is in the Zambezi Region ahead of the Masubia Cultural Festival celebration, which will take place at the Royal Establishment in Bukalo on Saturday.
Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah was received by the Minister of Urban and Rural Development, James Sankwasa, and the Zambezi Regional Governor, Dorothy Kabula.
The President is expected to deliver the keynote address at the ceremony, which will be celebrated under the theme "Preserving our heritage, celebrating our future."
The Masubia Cultural Festival is an annual celebration of heritage, unity, and identity for the community, held at the Munitenge Royal Establishment in Bukalo.
It features traditional dances, cultural exhibitions, and local cuisine as well as sustaining cultural heritage.
Other dignitaries expected to be in attendance include the National Assembly Speaker, Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila, and the Minister in the Presidency, Dr. Charles Mubita.
