Epukiro Post 3 residents have expressed gratitude for the renovation and reopening of their community hall. 

The renovations were done at a cost of about N$1.3 million and are part of a broader development drive in the Epukiro Constituency.

The Ministry of Works and Transport has expressed satisfaction with the progress made with the renovation of the Katutura Intermediate Hospital. 

Executive Director Esther Kaapanda visited the hospital on Friday to assess the progress of the renovations.

The word "dilapidated" is frequently used to describe healthcare facilities throughout the country.

However, the Executive Director of the Ministry of Health and Social Services, Ben Nangombe, believes this term is exaggerated.

The Khomas Regional Council has approved the building and renovation of additional classrooms and kitchens at twelve schools in Windhoek.

The regional officials paid a site visit to projects in Windhoek, where the news was announced.

Senior political leaders and staff of the education directorate undertook a visit to the Okondjatu Combined School in Okakarara Constituency. 

This follows the circulation of images and videos depicting the deplorable condition at the school.
