With the high unemployment rate faced in the country, the Ratepayers Association expressed concern over the issue of vendors around the city being moved or chased away from their preferred selling spots.

The Ratepayers Association, formerly known as the Katutura Residents Committee, has updated the community on the ongoing legal battle with the City of Windhoek. 

The City of Windhoek Council will soon start consultations with relevant stakeholders before finalizing its budget for the 2023–2024 financial year.

The council says the budgeting process is an integral part of the annual planning to focus on key projects required by the city.
