President Nangolo Mbumba has urged Namibians to share and care for one another under the banner of "One Namibia, One Nation" and remember the children, the elderly, and vulnerable communities.

The government of Cuba has honoured President Nangolo Mbumba with the Order of José Martí, an award named after that country’s national hero.

Namibia could soon export meat products to Qatar, following the expression of interest by the Gulf state.

Dr. Mbumba extended the voting period on recommendations of the Electoral Commission of Namibia.

The various Election Observation Missions accredited for the Presidential and National Assembly elections say they will be able to provide a fair representation of the process, both during and after voting.
