The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Urban and Rural Development is assessing the progress on the relocation of vendors around Windhoek's Havana 4-Way relocation, as the City of Windhoek moves ahead with plans to upgrade the Eneas Peter Nanyemba Road and transform the busy area.

Ongos Valley Group has addressed concerns over the deterioration of two sections of the Eneas Peter Nanyemba Road, saying rehabilitation plans have been submitted to the relevant authorities for approval.
 

Contractors working on the Eneas Peter Nanyemba road project said they are facing challenges that are delaying their completion of the road renovation programme. 

Motorists in Windhoek are agitated by daily traffic congestion along the Eneas Peter Nanyemba Road, which is currently under construction.

The first phase of the road construction, which will turn the road into a dual carriageway, is currently in its final stages.
