Members of the Swapo Party in the Grootfontein district are demanding the nullification of branch elections that began on April 16.

Seventeen branches have reported unfair practices allegedly orchestrated by an eight-member special task team assigned by party headquarters. 

Ghana's former ruling party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has directed its members to cease discussions that create disaffection within the party in the media.
