President calls for Africans to embrace ubuntu philosophy

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has called on Namibians and Africans in general to continue fostering the spirit of ubuntu in growing the African continent, as the world observes Africa Day.

Ubuntu is an ancient African word that translates to 'humanity over others'.

The President made the appeal against the backdrop of the observance of Mother’s Day on May 11th.
