The Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Tourism (MEFT) has handed over 20 boreholes, constructed at various locations in the country's north, to the Ministry of Agriculture.

The rangers at Ngenda Camp, situated west of Mudumu National Park in the Zambezi Region, are threatening to go on strike if the water crisis at the camp is not addressed.

Swapo Party Secretary General Sophia Shaningwa has advised residents in the Zambezi Region to acquire national documents in preparation for the upcoming presidential elections in November this year.

Sophia Shaningwa said this at a Swapo rally at Kanono in the Sibbinda Constituency.

One of the Roads Authority board members, Helen Amupolo, indicated the Nakabolelwa to Kasika Road is one of the projects expected to commence this year. 

The four traditional authorities in the Zambezi Region and the Regional Council have submitted their final recommendations and proposals for the constituency administrative boundaries and regional boundaries. 

The Zambezi Development Association (ZDA) has removed the sign board of the Zambezi Regional boundary with the Kavango East Region and attempted to hand it over to the 5th Boundaries Delimitation and Demarcation Commission at Katima Mulilo on Tuesday. 

ZDA is a pressure group headed by Blessing Maanda.

Education is the key to accessing opportunities for development presented by both the Namibian government and through the country's natural resources.

This was said by Swapo Party member Verna Sinimbo at Sifuha Village in the Zambezi Region.

The Balyerwa Conservancy donated items to four schools and two kindergartens in the Zambezi Region. 

The donation includes stationery such as photocopy paper, pens, exercise books, and whiteboard markers.
