Growing frustration is gripping the northern town of Oshikango in the Ohangwena Region as residents openly admit they are unlikely to vote in the upcoming elections, citing years of stalled development and unfulfilled promises.

Works and Transport Minister John Mutorwa has inaugurated the NaTIS office at the Helao Nafidi Town Council premises in the Ohangwena Region.

The office is part of the Roads Authority's quest to bring services closer to the people for effective and efficient service delivery across the country.

The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning has approved Helao Nafidi Town Council's membership to join the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities.

The aim is to support and accelerate the practice of lifelong learning in the town.
