Ongwediva Town Mayor Tarah Shalyefu was among the limited number of invited guests to witness the swearing-in of Namibia's first female Head of State, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at State House yesterday.

About 250 men from Ohangwena, Oshana, and Omusati regions are participating in the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Child Welfare's National Men's Conference at Ongwediva.
