The Epukiro Constituency Office, in collaboration with Grateful Hearts Charity and Jessica High 5 Foundation, donated clothing and shoes to ten villages in the constituency that are home to the San community.

According to the Constituency Councillor of Epukiro, Packy Pakarae, the government has many responsibilities, and he is thus calling on charity organisations and business entities to step up and assist communities.

"We have a strategic objective dealing with community wellness, and because of that, we have partnered with two foundations. These two foundations have enabled us to donate clothes, shoes and all the other related items to the San community. Today we started at Omurambawambuyombapa, which is a village specifically designed for the San communities where we have drilled and installed a new water point."

One beneficiary, Sara Katje, welcomed the donation and equally called on fellow Samaritans to come on board to assist the vulnerable in society.
