President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah arrived in Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania, to continue her regional engagements.

Upon arrival at the Julius Nyerere International Airport earlier this afternoon, President Nandi-Naitwah and her delegation were met by Tanzania's Foreign Affairs Minister and East African Cooperation Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo.

After passing through a Silent Guard of honour, the President left for State House for a meeting with President Samia Suluhu Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania before attending a working dinner, hosted by President Suluhu Hassan.

She will conclude her programme in Tanzania tomorrow with visits to the African Liberation Heritage Centre and the University of Dar es Salaam.
