FNB Namibia has provided essential food items, toiletries, and detergents to vulnerable communities in the northern regions of Oshana, Ohangwena, and Omusati.
The supplies, valued at N$50,000 for each region, will help alleviate the burdens faced by many households in the wake of economic hardship, climate-related impacts, and other social challenges.
In the Oshana Region, at least 60 homesteads in Oshakati, Ongwediva, and Ondangwa, as well as pre-primary grade learners, are set to benefit from the donation.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Oshana Region, Governor Elia Irimari expressed appreciation for the support, noting its timeliness.
“FNB Namibia’s support has come at a crucial time. Many households in our region are experiencing significant challenges, and this contribution will go a long way in helping those most in need,” said Irimari.
This initiative is part of FNB Namibia’s ongoing commitment to community upliftment as part of its corporate social responsibility.
