Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare said cultural diversity, traditions, and religion should unite Namibians under the umbrella of "One Namibia, One Nation".
He made these remarks during the consecration of Reverend Nelson Ndakevondjo as Bishop Suffragan of Reach, Namibia, this morning in Ondangwa, in the Oshana Region.
He added that diversity should not be allowed to cause division among citizens, but rather it should be seen as a source of strength and unity for the country's inhabitants and visitors alike.
He commended churches for playing a crucial role both before and after independence, saying that in churches, people learn compassion, truth
, humility, and justice, among other values that define public life and national policies.
