Swapo Party members in the Omaheke Region welcomed the reappointment of Governor Pijoo Nganate.

They commended him for his hard work, dedication and commitment towards public service delivery.

Swapo Party Coordinator for Omaheke, Ruth Mbura stressed that Nganate's reappointment is a testimony of his performance and further appealed to him to advance regional development as per the party's manifesto.

"Your dedication to public service is commendable and we congratulate you as Swapo Party and as comrade, we wish both of these offices to work hand in hand as always in talking and making sure that our people get the services they deserve."

Governor Nganate says it is expected of him to ensure that local people are well capacitated to address regional development, which he said requires collective efforts.

"The President says that we are too few to be poor. One of the things that must happen is that members of the MC committee are here and she said that procurement must take care of the people of those localities for services and goods."
