Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare said there is a new wind of hope in the Zambezi Region as all traditional leaders gathered at Sangwali to celebrate the Batsara cultural festival.

He emphasised that ethnic differences should strengthen the nation rather than divide it, and the Zambezi Region is a good example of this unity.

Ngurare noted that the Mayeyi community must be proud of their forefathers and leaders for their bravery.

He urged traditional leaders to listen to their people and embrace one another within the region, the country, and beyond.

Ngurare affirmed that the government would do everything possible to develop all tribes and communities without fear or favour. He emphasised that unity is essential for the country's progress and development.

Dr. Ngurare made the remarks at Sangwali during the Batsara Annual Cultural Festival.
