Four suspected robbers were arrested earlier today in Rocky Crest, Windhoek, after a chase ended when their getaway vehicle overturned while attempting to flee from the City Police. 

According to witnesses, the suspects were trying to escape in a Nissan Note when residents intervened and alerted law enforcement.

Officers patrolling nearby responded swiftly and apprehended the suspects at the scene.

Items found in the vehicle included multiple number plates, knives, and screwdrivers, which police believe were used in previous criminal activities around Windhoek. 

City Police Sergeant Kavekotoka Humvindu commended the community for their vigilance, stating that such cooperation is crucial in deterring crime.

The suspects are expected to appear in court once the investigation is complete.
