President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah was among the first to cast her vote at the Emma Hoogenhout Primary School polling station in Windhoek this morning, with a call to all registered voters to use the day for its intended purpose.
Nandi-Ndaitwah reminded the citizenry that she declared the day a public holiday to ensure that there are no excuses among voters to cast their votes.
The NBC News team spoke to both the President and the First Gentleman, Epaphras Ndaitwah, after they cast their votes.
