The NamPower Foundation constructed and handed over a classroom at Didimika Private School in Rundu's Kehemu area.

Didimika Private School, like many other schools in the Kavango East Region, also struggles with overcrowded classrooms.

NamPower then decided to come on board and constructed a classroom valued at more than N$340,000.

Speaking on behalf of the Rundu Circuit Inspector, the principal of Sauyemwa Junior Primary said the donation is more than just a building.

Former Deputy Prime Minister John Mutorwa said the issue of overcrowded classrooms in towns can be addressed by developing rural areas.
