Former Ambassador to China Dr. Elia Kaiyamo delivered a motivational speech to public servants and enterprise employees in the Ohangwena Region, calling for high standards of professionalism, integrity, and discipline.

He stressed politeness, careful speech, credibility, and cultural knowledge to serve clients effectively and contribute to national progress. Kaiyamo highlighted the role of education in service delivery, urging officials to gain skills, reject corruption, foster teamwork, and avoid negative attitudes.

He warned against workplace politics and urged those who wish to promote political agendas to do so at political offices, not in government workplaces.

Echoing the same sentiment was former Ohangwena governor Sebastian Ndeitunga, who also advised civil servants to avoid gossiping and backbiting at workplaces to avoid conflicts.

He says unity is a powerful tool for success in service delivery.
