The Founder of Hephzibah Mental Health Wellness Centre, Cynthia Martin, has called on all Namibians to join hands in the fight against alcohol and drug abuse.

She made this call during the Sunflower Night of Pledges in the capital. 

The Affirmative Repositioning (AR) party has encouraged the government to involve leaders at different levels when entering into project agreements with private investors.

Residents of Kongola in the Zambezi Region said their area has been forgotten with no tangible development, 17 years after it was proclaimed as a settlement.

Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare officiated at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Kunene Region Resource School on behalf of President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at Kamanjab this morning.

The school will cater to more than 500 children with a wide range of disabilities.
